Rudyard KiplingBorn in Bombay, India on 30th December 1865, Rudyard Kipling is best known for his short story collections, including The Jungle Book. He was a prolific writer, editor, and journalist, who travelled extensively to countries including the US, India, UK, Australia and Japan before settling in Sussex, England in 1902 for the remainder of his life. Awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1907, he passed away in 1936 and is buried in Westminster Abbey.
